• Dheyanira Calahorrano

    Founder-President

I am Dheyanira Calahorrano, founder of IntegrArte SF, a bilingual-bicultural learning community based in San Francisco's Mission District. With a background as a research associate at UCSF and UC Berkeley, and experience as a health coach at San Francisco General Hospital, I have dedicated myself to creating educational programs that empower Latino families through art, music, nature, ancestral knowledge, and education.

As an immigrant mother, I have gained invaluable experience and insights that drive my commitment to bilingual education, cultural pride, and the empowerment of Latino women. I am actively involved in various advisory committees, continuously fostering positive change and cultural growth by integrating community health with herbalism and permaculture. Through my work, I strive to strengthen familial connections to cultural heritage and promote holistic well-being for Latino immigrants, enhancing the vibrancy and resilience of the Mission District.

At IntegrArte SF, I lead a team of promotoras and community health workers who provide a safe and inclusive space for creativity, communication, and cultural integration. Together, we support our community by offering culturally relevant services that address both social and health challenges, ensuring that Latino families and other diverse communities can thrive.
