Kimberly Newton, MEd
Kimberly is a dedicated peace educator and artist with over 20 years of experience promoting peace, equality, joy, and sustainability. Her commitment arises from her childhood experiences in El Salvador, witnessing war and environmental harm. She now focuses on training others in her early childhood method, Conexiones, which helps young children develop 21st Century skills like global citizenship, teamwork, creativity, adaptability, humor, peaceful communication, and care for the environment.
With a BA in History and Anthropology and a Master's in Education, Kimberly has over 25 years of experience in various educational settings, including school districts, after-school programs, rainforest camps, and home-based groups. She founded several educational programs, including Conexiones Institute, Three Seeds Eco-Education Camp in Costa Rica, and AVENTURAS Day Camp, Spanish Play Studio, and Spanish through Art classes in the SF Bay Area, reaching thousands of students.
